🎋‘Self-betrayal is allowing fear to overrule the still, small voice of truth.’ Glennon Doyle Melton.
🎋There are many ways in which we betray ourselves out of fear: not sticking to life goals, not speaking our truth, not doing the work we love, staying in relationships that are not right for us, being loyal to others above ourself…
🎋And as a consequence, our confidence, our trust, our joy, and sense of safety in the world erodes, and triggers a sense of worthlessness and shame.
🎋 In this Livestream, on Wednesday 21st of April at 7p.m (UTC), we will be exploring self-betrayal, what it means, why and how we do it, and how to begin the journey back to a loving and powerful relationship with our ‘true’ self.
🙋‍♀️The talk is given by Helen Tanner Creative Psychotherapist & Coach – specialising in Forgiveness. @helentanner.com.
