“Sometimes you can pressure people into changing, you can force them, but the powers-that-be have more force than we do. I don’t think we are going to win in a contest of force. I think we need to induce a change of heart..We have to create the conditions where people feel safe to feel, and to care. That goes against a lot of our programming about how to make something change in the world.’ Charles Eisenstein.
Most of us can see things in the world that we wish would change. The big one for me, the change I long for, is the end of the destruction to the natural world, and in particular, in recent times, the destruction of the ancient woodlands, and natural habitats in the Uk and beyond.
As someone committed to Peace and the path of Forgiveness, I’ll admit I struggled to find the love in my heart, and mind, for those whose actions, I perceive, are responsible for wide-scale natural destruction. And yet, all of the ancient teachings and great teachers of Peace show us that Love is the way, even in the face of violence and destruction.
In this Livestream, on Wednesday 17th of March at 7p.m (UTC) we will be exploring how we can bring about real and radical change in the world through the transformative power of Love, what this means for us in, and as a, practice, and whether Forgiveness could have something valuable to offer in showing us the way?
