‘Self-betrayal is allowing fear to overrule the still, small voice of truth.’ Glennon Doyle Melton.
There are many ways in which we betray ourselves out of fear: not sticking to life goals, not speaking our truth, not doing the work we love, staying in relationships that are not right for us, being loyal to others above ourself…
And as a consequence, our confidence, our trust, our joy, and sense of safety in the world erodes, and triggers a sense of worthlessness and shame.
In this Livestream, on Wednesday 21st of April at 7p.m (UTC), we will be exploring self-betrayal, what it means, why and how we do it, and how to begin the journey back to a loving and powerful relationship with our ‘true’ self.
The talk is given by Helen Tanner Creative Psychotherapist & Coach – specialising in Forgiveness. @helentanner.com.
